Halilhodzic – ‘I only lost one game at Trabzonspor’ [divider]
Former Trabzonspor manager Vahid Halilhodzic admitted that he was disappointed with his reign at the club only lasting a few months.
Trabzonspor parted ways with Halilhodzic in November despite the Bosnian manager only losing one league game.
“I never claimed we were going to become champions in our first season, that was impossible,” Halilhodzic told FutbolArena.
“But it seems some people have a hard time accepting the truth, I only lost a single game but that was not good enough for some.”

Trabzonspor fired the former Algerian national team coach following a slow start to the league and for comments he made about his squad to the media.
Halilhodzic’s second spell at Trabzonspor lasted a total of 116 days. The experienced coach won four, drew eight and lost two of the 14 games he managed.
The Bosnian coach has been replaced by former Turkish national team manager Ersun Yanal.
