Galatasaray’s experienced midfielder Hamit Altintop is a doubt for this weekend’s encounter with Akhisar Belediyespor.
Altıntop had to be stretchered off during the 2-1 defeat against Trabzonspor after tearing a muscle in his leg.
Following scans after the game it was revealed the Turkish international sustained an injury in his left hamstring.
The former Bayern Munich player missed Galatasaray’s 1-0 victory over Gaziantepspor and has a 50% chance of missing this weekends game according to EurosportTR.
Felipe Melo and Semih Kaya have however, returned from lengthy injuries. Galatasaray star Wesley Sneijder will also return this weekend after serving a one match suspension.
