Germany international midfielder Emre Can has started the season like a house on fire.

The 23-year-old helped Germany lift the Confederation Cup last month and has been one of Liverpool’s star performers so far.

Can netted a brace against Hoffenheim to help the reds secure a place in the UEFA Champions league. The former Bayern Munich star also played a starring role during Sunday’s impressive 4-0 victory over Arsenal.

Liverpool legend Jamie Carragher heaped praise on the 23-year-old by stating that he played like a £70 million midfielder.

Following the Reds victory over their title rivals on Sunday, we took to social media to see how Can’s performance went down with fans.

Emre Can’s long-term future at Liverpool is cast in doubt. The 23-year-old has under 12-months remaining on his contract with the Merseyside based club. Serie A giants Juventus have recently expressed an interest in Can.

Liverpool take on Manchester City in their next Premier League fixture on September 9.
