‘He’s a penalty killer!’ – Gundogan gives his opinion on Man City star
Manchester City beat Wolves on penalties to progress to the League Cup quarter-finals mid-week.
City keeper Claudio Bravo made two saves in Tuesday’s shoot out victory and earned himself the Man of the Match award.
Bravo has been in impressive form on the penalty saving front.
The goalkeeper save three spot kicks in the Confederations Cup for Portugal just a few months back.
Bravo impressed City midfielder Ilkay Gundogan so much that he called the Chile international a ‘penalty killer’.

“I think he’s a penalty killer!” Gundogan was quoted as saying on the official City website.
“He showed it with Chile as well.
“Even for us as outfield players, but I think especially for a goalkeeper, when you don’t play every week, when you don’t get that rhythm, it’s quite challenging.
“And when you play 120 minutes, for a goalkeeper, it’s more about concentration, you have to always be 100 per cent concentrated.
“Especially the one-on-ones he saved, he was just brilliant.
“Last week in the training, we had a few penalties and he saved a lot of them.
“We are just happy to have him and today he was definitely man-of-the-match.”
Gundogan who was sidelined for nine months after suffering a knee injury last December has now made eight apperances since his recovery.
The midfielder of Turkish origin played the full 120 minutes against Wolves but has yet to start a Premier League or Champions League game this season.
City take on West Brom next in the Premier League at the Hawthorns Stadium on Saturday 28 October followed by a trip to Italy for their Champions League clash against Napoli.
