‘How did we ever let Ozyakup get away?’ – Arsenal fans react on social media to former midfielder’s display in victory over Croatia
Turkey beat Croatia 1-0 at the Eskisehir stadium to keep hopes of booking a place in the 2018 World Cup alive.
Besiktas star Oguzhan Ozyakup played a key role in the winning goal.
The former Arsenal man had his shot parried by the Croatian keeper allowing Cenk Tosun to slot the ball into the back of the net.
Ozyakup has won back to back Super Lig seasons since leaving Arsenal for Besiktas in 2012.

The midfielder has also established himself as a regular call up for the Turkish national side.
