‘I am looking to be at one of the top leagues’ – Chelsea defender opens up about what he wants next season
Chelsea defender Kenneth Omeruo has revealed that he is considering his options next season after growing frustrated with loan moves.
The Nigerian international has spent the last four seasons on loan and has never actually played a full season for the Blues.
Omeruo is currently on a temporary move at Turkish league minnows Alanyaspor.

The young defender revealed that he has now totally given up hope of playing for Chelsea but that he wants to play regular football.
Responding to a question about whether heĀ thinks he will eventually break into theĀ Chelsea squad by saying: “You know it might happen, it is frustrating to always go out on loan but when it is the right time it is the right time,” Omeruo told the BBC World Service.
“For me my priority is to play at the top, where I play regularly.”
Omeruo was on the verge of joining Besiktas over the summer transfer window but the deal stalled with just a few days remaining in the transfer window.
The 22-year-old also spent last season in Turkey, playing for Istanbul based Kasimpasa.
“I had the opportunity to play for the biggest club in Turkey [Besiktas] over the summer but the deal fell apart just two days before the transfer window ended,” he added.
“I am looking to be at one of the top leagues.”
Omeruo has played for Den Haag, Middlesbrough, Kasimpasa and Alanyaspor since joining the Blues from Standard Liege in 2012.
The young centre-back has one goal in 23 appearances for the Mediterranean based outfit this season.
