Italian giants Inter Milan and Napoli have become the latest clubs to join the race for Barcelona midfielder according to Sport.
Per the source, Turan is available on sale and Barcelona are looking to recoup some of the £46 million they shelled out on Andre Gomes last week.
The experienced midfielder does still have another four-years remaining on his contract and did lift two trophies last season with his new club.
Turan is reported to be happy at the club according to his agent Ahmet Bulut and he is training with Barcelona but reports from Spain remain unconvinced regarding his future at the club.
Turan is understood to be happy at Barcelona. “The interest is normal but the rumours saying he is leaving Barcelona are false, he is happy at the club,” Turan’s agent, Ahmet Bulut told Turkish-football.com [via Emre Sarigul who spoke to the Guardian].
Inter and Napoli could face Premier League competition for Turan’s signature. The Express report that Arsenal are interested in the Turkish international midfielder and that forward Alexis Sanchez has urged the club to sign Turan – despite being on holiday.
The 29-year-old was also linked with a loan move to Besiktas today according to Spanish sports newspaper AS.
The Sun report that Chelsea are also interested and that Turan could be available for £20 million which is almost a third less than he signed for last summer.
