‘Jassen is a fraud’ – Famous Turkish sports pundit slams Tottenham striker
Vincent Janssen has hit the ground running in the Super Lig since joining Fenerbahce on loan from Tottenham.
The Dutch striker has scored two goals with his first two shots in his first two starts.
Janssen played an important role in Fenerbahce beating reigning league champions Besiktas 2-1 in the Istanbul derby on Saturday.
The 23-year-old won his side a penalty and also scored.
Not everyone was impressed with Janssen. In fact Turkish football pundit and journalist Hincal Uluc – known for being a Galatasaray supporter – called the striker a fraud and accused him of diving.

“Whoever brought Janssen to Turkey better take a good look in the mirror,” Uluc said speaking on A Spor.
“We have enough frauds in the league as it is, now we have brought in another one from abroad.
“He threw himself on the on the floor for a penalty.
“Janssen hasn’t come here to play football, he is here to get opposition players booked with his diving.”
Fenerbahce closed the gap with league leaders Galatasaray to five points following their victory over Besiktas.
The Yellow Canaries take on Akhisar at the Manisa 19 Mayis stadium next on Friday 29 September.
Despite Uluc’s criticism, Janssen is expected to start upfront against Akhisar after an impressive start to the season.
Janssen has established himself as first choice striker, moving ahead of former Tottenham striker Soldado in the pecking order.
