Jose Sosa delighted with Beşiktaş team performance [divider]
Beşiktaş midfielder Jose Sosa refused to take all the praise following the 2-1 win over Konyaspor and underlined that the whole team deserved credit.
“It was an important goal, we were 1-0 ahead but not playing that well at the time,” Sosa said.
“I got into a good position and Olcay Şahan spotted me, it was a good goal but scoring goals and assists is not that important.
“I do not believe a players individual records are that important because at the end of the day this is a team sport and the team wins not the individual.
“We have had a really tough run lately but keep winning, we need to keep this up now until the winter break and push forwards after a well earned rest.”
Sosa joined Beşiktaş from Metalist FC after spending last season on loan at Atletico Madrid.
The La Liga winner has two goals and five assists for the Black Eagles this season.
