Lions sporting director spotted at Man United Europa League final clash for Chelsea striker after holding talks with Premier League champions

Galatasaray sporting director Cenk Ergun attended the Europa League final between Manchester United and Ajax a source close to the Lions revealed to Turkish-Football.

Ergun was at the final in Stockholm, Sweden, keeping tabs on Bertrand Traore.

Galatasaray have been closely linked with a move for the Chelsea striker who spent this season on loan at Ajax.

Turkish outlet Fanatik recently reported that Ergun recently held talks in London with Chelsea over Traore.

Per the source, Ergun met with Chelsea official to discuss a loan move for the 21-year-old.

Chelsea boss Antonio Conte and Galatasaray manager Igor Tudor were teammates at Juventus.

The Istanbul giants are hopeful that the close relationship between the two managers could work in their favour.

Traore faces an uncertain future at Stamford Bridge.

The 21-year-old revealed that he wants to stay at Chelsea but that he will hold talks regarding his future plans with the Premier League champions over the summer.

“Chelsea is my club, and I always dreamed of playing for this club,” said Traore.

“I want to win the cup [Europa League], and return.

“But I don’t make the final decision. We will see what happens.

“When the season is finished I’ll go back to Chelsea, and for sure we will have a chat.”

Traore finished the season with 13 goals and six assists in all competitions for the Dutch giants.
