Liverpool’s Lucas Leiva has been holding ongoing talks with Euro giants over summer transfer
Galatasaray are in talks with Liverpool star midfielder Lucas Leiva.
The Turkish outlet SporunDibi have claimed that negotiations are ongoing between Galatasaray and Lucas.
Per the source, Galatasaray came close to signing Lucas last summer. However, manager Jurgen Klopp blocked the move at the last minute due to an injury crisis.
The Brazil international also came close to leaving Anfield during Brendan Rodger’s spell in charge.

Meanwhile, the daily Turkish paper Milliyet recently went a step further after reporting that the Lion’s have struck a deal with Lucas.
The report state that Galatasaray have reached an agreement with Lucas worth €2.5 million per-year. The defensive midfielder’s contract with the Reds expires at the end of the season.
Lucas is currently the longest serving member of the Liverpool squad.
The 30-year-old mad the move to Anfield from Gremio back in 2007.
Lucas has been restored to Liverpool’s starting line-up in recent weeks. The Brazil international has one goal in 24 appearances so far this season for Liverpool.
