Liverpool take on Beşiktaş in the Europa League Round of 32 second leg at the Atatürk Olympic stadium today.

The Reds famously beat Beşiktaş 8-0 at Anfield in the 2007-08 Champions League group stages but their away form in Turkey has been less impressive.

Liverpool have lost three of their five away games against Turkish opposition and have only recorded a single victory.

The Reds beat Trabzonspor in the Europa League qualification stage under Roy Hodgson in 2010.

Beşiktaş beat Liverpool 2-1 the last time the two sides met in Turkey back in the group stages of the 2007-08 Champions League.

The Black Eagles have not actually lost against English opposition in European competition this season.

Beşiktaş held Arsenal to a goalless draw in the Champions League qualification stage and beat Tottenham 1-0 in the Europa League group stages.
