Liverpool could lose star man for just £9m in January after rejecting £23m deadline day bid
Liverpool could end up losing star midfielder Emre Can for just £9 million in January according to reports in Italy.
Corriere dello Sport claim that Juventus had a £23 million deadline day bid rejected by Liverpool.
Per the source, Can has not intention of signing a new deal with the Reds.
The midfielder of Turkish origin has just 12 months remaining on his Liverpool contract but has yet to sign a new deal.
Juventus will be free to hold direct talks with Can over the winter break if he does not sign a new deal with Liverpool.

The report claims that the 23-year-old will be available for just £9 million in January.
Juventus chief Beppe Morotta has already confirmed interest in Can and that they will plot a move for him again in January.
“Liverpool are holding on tight to Emre Can,” Marotta told Premium Sport.
“His contract expires in June. We’ll be able to negotiate with him from January. We won’t hide the fact we like him.
“But currently he is a Liverpool player, so we can only admire him from afar.”
Can already has two goals and one assist in four appearances this season and has started every game.
