Liverpool Plan To Replace Coutinho With 1.91m Midfielder With 4 Champions League Goals This Season
Liverpool plan to replace Philippe Coutinho with Besiktas attacking midfielder Anderson Talisca according to reports in Turkey.
The Milliyet newspaper reported that the Reds have rekindled interest in the Brazilian following Coutinho’s £142 million move to Barcelona.
Per the source, Talisca has been on the Reds shortlist for years and that club scouts have been impressed with his form this season especially in Europe.
The 23-year-old has four goals in the Champions League this season playing an important role in his side becoming the first Turkish side to book a place in the Last 16 as group leaders.

Talisca would however, be cup-tied in the competition if he were to join Liverpool in January.
The Reds have also booked a place in the Last 16 after also topping their group.
Talisca is currently into his second season on loan at Besiktas.
The Brazilian played an important role in his side lifting the Super Lig title last campaign.
The 1.91m tall attacking midfielder does however, have a buyout clause option that the Reds could activate over the winter transfer window.
Talisca was closely linked with Liverpool as well as a £20 million move to Wolves prior to joining Besiktas in 2016 according to the Sun.
Talks broke down as Talisca did not have a work permit to play in the Premier League.
Current Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho has been a long term admirer of Talisca and revealed that in his opinion the Brazilian would have already been a Premier League player had it not been for his work permit issue.
Speaking to Portuguese broadcaster TVI24 [via Daily Star] in 2014, Mourinho said: “I think Benfica hired well. They say Talisca is unknown, but he is only so unknown because he’s only not playing in England because he doesn’t have a work permit. If he had one, he would be here!”
