Liverpool are prepared to offload their Serbian forward Lazar Markovic for £7.3 million according to a report by LigTV.
The report states that the Red’s are willing to cut their losses and sell the 21-year-old for £13 million less than they signed him for.
Fenerbahce are set to hold talks with Liverpool over the possibility of signing Markovic on a permanent basis in the near future. The Serbia international has been on loan at the Istanbul based club since the beginning of the season.
The daily Turkish newspaper Takvim states that the Istanbul Giants will table an offer when they meet with the Merseyside club.
Markovic joined Liverpool in 2014 after being tipped as one of the hottest properties in European football, but has failed to make any significant impact. The 21-year-old scored three goals and provided one assist in 34 appearances for the Red’s last season.
The former Benfica forward has two assists and one goal for Fenerbahce this season.
