Liverpool star Emre Can admits a lack of consistency

Liverpool news: Emre Can Jurgen Klopp

Liverpool star Emre Can has urged his side to be more consistent for longer spells.

The Germany international also admitted that his needs to be more consistent himself.

“Our problem is that we are just not consistent enough. We follow up two good matches with one bad match too often,” Can told the German outlet Kicker (via ESPN).

“We need to manage to be consistent for a longer period of time. This also applies to me.”

Can has been a constant feature in Liverpool’s midfield since the appointment of Jurgen Klopp. The Germany international has raised eyebrows with a string of impressive performances in recent weeks.

The 22-year-old is currently on international duty with Germany and started in the 3-2 defeat at the hands of rivals England over the weekend.

Can has provided two assists and has scored two goals in 43 appearances for Liverpool this season.
