Liverpool Star Rejected Man City Before Striking Pre-Contract Deal With Euro Giants

Liverpool star Emre Can rejected offers from Manchester City and Bayern Munich before agreeing terms with Juventus, according to Tuttosport.

The Reds remain hopeful they will be able to keep Can on next seasons, despite reports of a pre-contract in place with the Bianconeri.

Per the source, the midfielder of Turkish origin is set to move to Italy at the end of the season.

Can will be available on a free transfer at the end of the season unless he extend his contract at Liverpool.

The 24-year-old is understood to have agreed a contract worth £85,000-a-week with Juve and will complete his move when his contract runs out at Anfield.

The central midfielder will not be leaving Liverpool in January and Jurgen Klopp continues to show faith in Can.

Klopp is expected to include Can in the squad to face Manchester City over the weekend and he is expected to start.

The Germany international joined the Reds from Bayer Leverkusen in 2014 and has made 154 appearances, scoring 16 goals.
