Liverpool star Emre Can will not be joining Euro giants on reported €42m move as he isn’t good enough to get in team – Stewart Robson
Former Arsenal defender Stewart Robson believes Liverpool’s Emre Can will not be joining Juventus this summer.
The Germany international has been closely linked with a move to the Old Lady in recent weeks.
Can’s failure to put pen-to-paper on a new deal with Liverpool has added further fuel to speculation.
According to Turkish outlet Sozcu, Juventus have set aside €45 million for the former Bayer Leverkusen man.
However, Stewart Robson has poured cold water on reports linking Can with a move to Juve. The ESPN pundit believes Can will not be joining Juventus this summer as he would not get into the squad.
Robson stated that Juventus have better central midfielders and that Can isn’t good enough to play for the Serie A champions.

“No, I’m not going to go with that one,” Robson told ESPN FC.
“Juventus have a lot of good midfield players in there.
“Pjanic, Khedira, Marchisio, I’m not sure where Emre Can would fit in.
“I think he’s a decent player and a good player for Liverpool, so I think that one is a miss on all counts.”
Can currently has under 12 months remaining on his contract with Liverpool.
The 23-year-old returned to first team training earlier this week. The Germany international was also included in Jurgen Klopp’s pre-season squad which traveled to Germany.
Can was given an extended summer break after helping Germany lift the Confederations Cup earlier this month.
