Liverpool star with just 12 months remaining on contract left out of Liverpool legends squad which includes Steven Gerrard and Jamie Carragher.
Liverpool star midfielder Emre Can has been in impressive form for the Reds in recent months.
The 23-year-old has established himself in Liverpool’s midfield and has earned himself a place in Germany’s squad which will compete at the Confederations Cup.
However, Can’s future at Liverpool is still cast in doubt. The Germany international will have just 12 months remaining on his contract this summer and has yet to extend his current deal.

Can has not been included in the Liverpool legends squad which will take on Sydney at the 83,000 capacity ANZ stadium this week.
Phillipe Coutinho and club captain Jordan Henderson have also been left out of the squad.
Can is understood to be left out due to Germany’s upcoming Confederation Cup campaign in Russia. Meanwhile both Coutinho and Henderson have been nursing injuries in recent weeks.
Emre Can racked up three assists and five goal in 40 appearances for Liverpool this season.
