Liverpool target Jurgen Klopp denies Fenerbahce talks

Jurgen Klopp’s agent Marc Kosicke has denied reports suggesting his client has been in talks with Fenerbahce.

Speaking to NTVSpor Kosicke stated, “Of course the reports in the media are not true.”

Fenerbahçe have also released an official statement denying reaching an agreement with Borussia Dortmund manager Jurgen Klopp.

The statement read: “The Sabah report claiming Fenerbahçe are in advanced talks with Klopp are false, Ismail Kartal is the clubs manager, we urge the media in question to stop trying to play mind games and disrupt the team.”

The German manager recently confirmed that he will be leaving Dortmund at the end of the season and has also been closely linked with taking over at Liverpool as well as Manchester City in the summer.

Current Fenerbahçe head coach Kartal is expected to part ways with the club at the end of the season despite being in the title race and the semi finals of the Turkish Cup.
