Liverpool team news: Klopp receives boost as star winger is available for selection ahead of Spartak clash, likely line-ups
Liverpool will be looking to record their first victory in the UEFA Champions League this season when they face Spartak Moscow.
The clash takes place in Russia at the Otkrytiye Arena while kick-off is scheduled for 19:45 (GMT).
Reds boss Jurgen Klopp has urged the importance of picking up a result tonight over playing entertaining football.
“The balance has to be right. We are an offensive-orientated team, but this is about Champions League football. We need results,” Klopp told reporters at the pre-game press conference.
“In the right moments, you need to be able to do the right things. It is not about being spectacular, it is about being good, and being clinical and having perfect timing and perfect protection.
“We cannot just bring all the artists, but if it fits together we will do it.”
