Liverpool transfer news: Juve boss confirms move for Emre Can in January, in-form star could leave for free
Juventus haven’t given up hopes of signing Liverpool’s in-form midfielder Emre Can.
The Italian giants have been closely linked with the Germany international over the past month but Liverpool have – so far – resisted all bids for their star man.
Juve chief Beppe Marotta has admitted that any deal may have to be shelved until the winter. However, Marotta confirmed that they will make another move for Can in January.

“Liverpool are holding on tight to Emre Can,” Marotta told Premium Sport.
“His contract expires in June, we’ll be able to negotiate with him from January. We won’t hide the fact we like him.
“But currently he is a Liverpool player, so we can only admire him from afar.”
Can’s future at Liverpool is growing increasingly uncertain as his contract expires in under 12-months.
Unless Liverpool can strike a new deal with the Germany international, he will be able to hold talks with interested clubs from January onwards.
Can has been in impressive form for Liverpool this season and scored a brace during the Reds 4-2 win over Hoffenheim last week.
Liverpool take on Manchester City in their next Premier League fixture on September 9.
