Liverpool youngster Samed Yeşil started his first game for the Reds U21 since returning from his cruciate ligament injury but was unable to prevent a 2-1 loss against Fulham U21.
The Liverpool U-21s missed out on the chance to go top of the table after losing against Fulham.
Yeşil got the play 30 minutes and Jose Enrique also featured for the Reds.
The 20-year-old shared an image from the game on Instagram alongside the caption: “Shame about the result, but happy to play 30min. #ynwa #lfc #elhamdullilah.”
