Liverpool U21s beat Leicester City U21s 2-1 at the 2-1 at Chester’s Swansway stadium to temporarily go top of the U21 Premier League table.
Leicester took the lead when Connor Randall scored a header past Ward into the right corner, six minutes before half-time.
Cleary headed in Alex O’Hanlon’s curling free-kick on 58 minutes to equalise.

The winner came just seven minutes later when Brannagan scored a long range shot from 20 yards out.
Samed Yeşil made a brief appearances replacing Sinclair but was unable to get his name on the scoresheet.
The former Leverkusen striker only recently recovered from a double cruciate ligament injury that has seen him spend most of the season on the sidelines.
Yeşil now has four goals in eight U21 appearances for the Reds this season.
The 20-year-old is not fully match fit yet but has been playing more regularly since his return.
