Germany international Emre Can has been included in Jurgen Klopp’s starting eleven.
The former Bayer Leverkusen star’s future at the Merseyside based club is still uncertain. Can has under five months left on his contract and could end up leaving Liverpool for free this summer.
£75 million record signing Dirk van Dijk has been left out of today’s squad. Liverpool confirmed that the star defender is out due to a tight hamstring.
Meanwhile, Man City’s Ilkay Gundogan has also retained his place in Pep Guardiola’s starting eleven.
