The Liverpool manager has decided to take youngsters Jordan Williams, Jordan Lussey, Jerome Sinclair, Cameron Brannagan and Ryan Fulton to Istanbul.
Rodgers underlined that he is expecting a tough game against Beşiktaş but admitted his side will be full of confidence going into the return game.
“It will be a tough game. Besiktas have lost two on the spin which is unusual for them, so they will want to put that right. But as you can imagine, my team is very confident,” he added.
The Liverpool head coach also revealed that he is looking forward to the atmosphere at the Atatürk Olympic stadium.
“We will see what the atmosphere is like. Their old ground was very intimidating, but at this one there is a bit of room, there is a gap between the fans and the field itself,” Rodgers said.
Beşiktaş have released a statement confirming that all tickets for the return leg have been sold out.
