Liverpool’s Emre Can: ‘We can’t afford to let up just because we haven’t lost for a few games’

Liverpool’s Emre Can has urged his side to not lose their focus after an inconsistent start to the season.

“We can’t afford to let up just because we haven’t lost for a few games,” Can said in an interview with Liverpool’s official website.

“We need to continue to work hard in training and push on for good results in the matches, we need to carry on playing well and amass as many points as we can.

“It is very easy to slip down the league. We need to remain focused and continue to play the way we have over the past few weeks. Perhaps we are the favourites but in the Premier League every team can beat each other.

“I look forward to every test in the Premier League and playing against every opponent and any striker,”
