“We want to make history” – Luis Suarez insists Barcelona can qualify

Barcelona star Luis Suarez believes that Barcelona have what it takes to qualify for the next round of the UEFA Champions League.

The reigning La Liga champions need to score at least four goals against Paris Saint Germain tonight if they are to stand any chance of making it to the quarter finals.

Luis Enrique’s side suffered a shock 4-0 defeat at the hands of PSG at the Parc des Princes in the first leg.

“We have to be patient. We cannot lose our cool. We obviously have to be ambitious, but we should not go crazy from the first minute,” Luis Suarez was quoted as saying by the Mirror.

“We want to make history. The players are aware of what is at stake. We realise it will be difficult, but it will not be impossible. We are convinced we can do it.”

Turkey international Arda Turan has been included in the squad and is fit to start.

The 30-year-old has missed Barcelona’s last five games due to injury. Turan has however participated in first team training this week and was rested over the weekend against Celta Vigo.

The former Atletico Madrid man has seven assists and 13 goals in 27 apperances for Barca this season.

Andres Iniesta – who was rested over the weekend against Celta Vigo – returns to the squad and is expected to start tonight.
