Gundogan made highest number of passes at a 94 percent accuracy in Man City Champions League clash
Manchester City suffered their first defeat of the season against Shakhtar Donetsk in the Champions League on Match Day 6.
The Blues suffered a 2-1 defeat in Ukraine but it had little impact on their campaign in the grander scheme of things.
City had already booked a place in the Last 16 as group leaders.
Ilkay Gundogan got a rare start and was offered a silver lining to Pep Guardiola in the face of defeat.

Gundogan put on an impressive display pulling off an outstanding 110 passes at a 94 percent accuracy (Whoscored).
No other player attempted over 100 passes over the course of the 90 minutes.
Additionally the midfielder of Turkish origin also pulled off six successful dribbles which was only topped by 18-year-old Brahim Diaz (8).
Gundogan got his first Premier League start last week in the 2-1 win over Southampton.
The star midfielder will be hoping to keep his place in the side against rivals Manchester United in the derby on Sunday.
City will equal the Premier League’s record winning streak of 14 games if they beat United.
The Citizens are currently first in the league, eight points ahead of second placed United.
