Man City team news: Guardiola missing key duo, Gundogan unlikely to start against Arsenal

Manchester City take on Arsenal in the Premier League’s blockbuster fixture this weekend.

The clash takes place at the Etihad stadium on Sunday while kick-off is scheduled for 14:15 (GMT).

Pep Guardiola’s side has been flying in recent weeks with 13 victories in a row. City also defeated Serie A leaders Napoli in the UEFA Champions League in Italy earlier this week.

Man City team news:

Pep Guardiola has no fresh injury problems to worry about head into the weekend’s fixture.

Club captain Vincent Kompany is out once again with a calf injury. Meanwhile Summer signing Benjamin Mendy is continuing his recovery know a knee operation. The France international is unlikely to feature again this season.

Star playmaker Ilkay Gundogan is expected to keep his place in the squad but is unlikely to start this weekend against Arsenal.

The Germany international was included in Guardiola’s starting eleven on Wednesday when City defeated Napoli.
