Man City team news: Pep Guardiola facing selection headache going into Bournemouth clash

Manchester City will be looking to return to winning ways this weekend when they take on Bournemouth.

The game takes place on Saturday afternoon at the Vitality stadium, kick-off is scheduled for 12:30 (GMT).

City were held to a 1-1 draw at the Etihad by Everton on Monday night.

Pep Guadiola faces several selection headaches going into this weekends clash.

Summer signing Kyle Walker misses the Bournemouth game due to a suspension he picked up against Everton.

Meanwhile Benjamin Mendy is an injury doubt going into the weekend. Mendy – who joined City for £52 million last month – has been struggling with a thigh problem since joining the Citizens.

The French left back returned to first-team training this week and will be assessed on match day.

Ilkay Gundogan is also an injury doubt. The Germany international played his first game for City in 8 months last week following a knee injury.

England international Fabian Delph has also been ruled out due to injury.
