Man United news: Premier League scouts confirmed at derby clash for the ‘Turkish Dybala’ who scored brace against Euro giants

Nineteen-year-old Cengiz Under has hit the ground running at Basaksehir this season.

Under joined Basaksehir from second-tier outfit Altinordu on a £500,000 move over the summer.

The Turkish international has already been directly involved in 16 goals this season – nine goals, seven assists.

Under’s red hot form has attracted widespread interest from across Europe.

Turkish-Football recently reported that Manchester United have been scouting Under.

Basaksehir club president Goksel Gumudag has now confirmed that Premier League sides and La Liga sides have been scouting the rising star.

“There were scouts from Premier League scouts and La Liga teams at the Besiktas derby,” Gumusdag was quoted as saying by Turkish-Football.

“I will reveal the details at the end of the season as I do not want to distract the team.

“We do not want to sell Under but will discuss this once the season is over.”

Under has been nicknamed the ‘Turkish Dybala’ in Turkey as a result of similarities in his appearance, age and playing style to Paulo Dybala.

The Juventus star is 23-years-old and has attracted widespread attention for his exploits this season.

Under is four-years younger and despite also playing in an attacking role he tends to play out wide on the wing.

The 19-year-old has managed to establish himself as a regular call-up to the national team despite his young age.

Under scored in his official debut for Turkey in the 3-0 victory over Moldova in the last round of international games.
