Man United Reveal Squad Ahead Of Stoke City Clash, Attacker Makes Cut Amid Reports Of Old Trafford Exit
Manchester United will be able to close the gap with league leaders Manchester City to 12 points with a win against Stoke City at Old Trafford.
United boss Jose Mourinho sparked controversy in the lead up to the game after refusing to rule out the possiblity of Henrikh Mkhitaryan leading.
“Henrikh Mkhitaryan? My approach to players is that every player has a price,” Mourinho explained. “Doesn’t matter who he is, doesn’t matter the level, doesn’t matter the prestige, the status, I think every player has a price.
“I’m not the kind of blind managers, blind in the sense of this player is untouchable, this player we can never sell, I think every player has a price.”
The 28-year-old has however, made the squad for the clash with Stoke City.
The Armenian international was present at the Lowry Hotel on Monday afternoon in preperation for the clash.
Turkish-Football reported that Besiktas are interested in the attacking midfielder.

The Daily Mail meanwhile report that Arsene Wenger has demanded Mkhitaryan if Alexis Sanchez joins United in January.
Per the source, Arsenal’s new scout Sven Mislintat, who has joined the London club from Dortmund is a keen admirer of Mkhitaryan.
Sergio Romero is out due to injury, but Anthony Martial has made the squad although he is unlikely to start.
Antonio Valencia meanwhile, is in line to return after suffering a hamstring injury at West Brom on December 17.
Eric Bailly and Zlatan Ibrahimovic are out injured while Ashley Young is still suspended.
