Man United target directly involved in 15 goals in 17 games starts for Trabzonspor in crucial Kayserispor clash
Trabzonspor take on Kayserispor at home knowing that a win will close the gap with fourth placed Galatasaray to just one point.
The Black Sea based outfit will book European competition football next season if they overtake Galatasaray before the end of the campaign.
Twenty-year-old rising star Yusuf Yazici will start for Trabzonspor.
The Turkish under-21 international has been directly involved in 15 goals in 17 games this season – 10 goals, five assists.
Trabzonspor were facing a relegation battle during the first half of last season but since Yazici’s introduction to the first team after the winter break they have been in great form.
Yazici has been in the losing side just once in games he has started in 2017.
The attacking midfielder’s impressive form has attracted a lot of interest.
Manchester United are among the clubs keeping close tabs on the youngster.
The Hurriyet newspaper revealed earlier this week that United have been scouting Yazici for months.
Yazici is keen on a move abroad after his stint at Trabzonspor and he was recently snapped up by the same management agency as Mesut Ozil and Ilkay Gundogan, headed by Dr Erkut Sogut.
