Man United transfer news: Turkish giants plot double swoop for Red Devils stars

Fenerbahce are planning a double swoop for Manchester United duo Luke Shaw and Marouane Fellaini according to Fotomac.

The Turkish sports newspaper claim that Yellow Canaries boss Aykut Kocaman has given his recruitment team the green light to push ahead with trying to complete the deals.

Per the source, Fenerbahce will submit an official offer for both players.

The Istanbul giants have already made enquiries for Shaw and Fellaini.

A source close to Fenerbahce revealed to Turkish-Football that talks have already been held with the Belgium international’s agent.

United manager Jose Mourinho has made use of Fellaini this season and has praised him but the midfielder has under 12 months remaining on his contract.

Fenerbahce can enter direct talks with the 29-year-old in January unless an extension is signed.

United are reportedly keen to part ways with both players as their exit will pave the way for January transfers.

The Daily Star claim that Shaw and Fellaini will have to leave before new signings can be made.

Just under £300 million has been spent since the appointment of Mourinho.

Wages have also increased to £263.5 million under the stewardship of the Portuguese head coach.
