Manchester United striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic has yet to make his debut since joining from PSG over the summer and is set to miss the Chinese tour according to ESPN.
The BBC, Times and Guardian also claim that head coach Jose Mourinho could leave Ibrahimovic in England to work on his fitness.
Ibrahimovic has already had the minimum three-week rest period after the European Championships which is required by FIFA however, Mourinho may give him extra time off.
Should the 34-year-old striker miss the China tour where United will play Borussia Dortmund and arch rivals Manchester City he would probably make his debut against either Salford City or Turkish giants Galatasaray.
Salford are of course co-owned by former United stars including Gary Neville and the ex Valencia boss send out the following tweet a few days ago hinting that Ibrahimovic may make his debut against the lower league club.
