Man Utd winger already feels ‘part of the family’ at Fenerbahce

Manchester United winger Nani is expected to complete his €6 million move to Fenerbahçe today and admitted that he already feels part of the family.

Nani arrived at the Sabiha Gökçen airport in Istanbul yesterday and was greeted by hundreds of Yellow Canaries supporters.

The Portuguese international also underlined that having Portuguese international teammates Raul Meireles and Bruno Alves at the team will help him settle in quicker.

“I am very happy with the move, I want to be successful here and make all the fans who turned out here proud,” Nani told Fenerbahçe Tv.

“I know Fenerbahce well and I have Portuguese teammates Bruno Alves and Raul Meireles, I will feel a part of the family here and it will help me settle in more.”

The 28-year-old winger has become the third Portuguese international at the team.

Nani will also become the sixth Portuguese speaker to join in the current team – Alves, Meireles, Fabiano, Ba and Fernandao.

The former United winger will also be coached by a Portuguese coach – former Porto boss Vitor Pereira – who took charge of the team last month replacing Ismail Kartal.
