Manchester City linked with Beşiktaş target Musa Mohammed [divider]
Manchester City tried to sign 18-year-old Musa Mohammed according to football agent Eddie Duah.
“I wanted to take him (Musa Mohammed) to a top club in the English Premier League, but his Nigerian agent had other plans for him,” Duah told to SL10.ng.
“So I backed out. It was a real shame because Musa’s style of play would have been fantastic for the EPL. I like to work in a straight forward and honest manner.”
Beşiktaş have been keeping close tabs on the Nigerian international and made a bid for him this summer.
The deal fell through but the Black Eagles could attempt to sign the young right-back again in January.
The young right-back has also been linked with moves to Liverpool, Chelsea and Manchester United after a series of impressive performances in the 2013 FIFA Under-17 World Cup.
