Fenerbahce star Robin Van Persie has named the best players he played with while at Manchester United.
The Netherlands international was answering questions as part of an interview with official UEFA website.
“I played with Scholes for one year, but he was injured for a couple of months,” Van Persie stated when asked who was the best player he played with at Manchester United.
“Even in training you could tell that players like Scholes, Giggs … I really enjoyed playing with them.
“They are players with their own style in their own position. I also really enjoyed watching Nemanja Vidić and Rio Ferdinand. It’s difficult to point out one, two or even three.”
Rio Ferdinand won six Premier League titles, six community shields, three league cups, the Champions league and World Club cup after joining United for a record £30 million from Leeds United.
Van Persie played a key role in United winning the league title for a record 20th time and also won the Community Shield with the Premier League giants.
The Netherlands international has 14 goals and one assist in all competitions for the Yellow Canaries this season.
Van Persie currently has more league goals than all his former United teammates. Fenerbahce are first in the Turkish league, in the Turkish Cup semi-final and will take on Braga in the Europa League Last 16.
