Man United ready to make £6m offer for 19-year-old wonder-kid who has contributed to 12 goals in Turkish league
Manchester United are prepared to make a £6 million offer to secure the services of Basaksehir wonder-kid Cengiz Under according to the Daily Mirror [via Hurriyet].
Per the source, Bayer Leverkusen and Inter are also in the race to sign the 19-year-old.
United could face competition from rivals Liverpool who have been scouting Under a source close to Basaksehir told Turkish-Football.
Under has been one of the signings of the season, joining Basaksehir from Altinordu for just £500,000 over the summer.
The young winger adapted seamlessly to top-tier football, establishing himself as a star player in the surprise title challengers.
The Istanbul minnows are currently 2nd in the Turkish league, five points behind reigning champions Besiktas.
Under has directly contributed to 12 goals this season – seven goals, five assists.
The rising star has also been regularly called up to the Turkish national team and scored against Moldova in his last outing for the Crescent-Stars.

Turkish national team boss Fatih Terim fielded a youthful side with an average age of 23.
Under was one of two players in the Turkish national team against Moldova who rose through the ranks of the Altinordu academy – the other being Freiburg starlet Caglar Soyuncu.
The Izmir based club have one of the most ambitious youth projects in Turkey and aim to build a first team based entirely of academy trained players.
Turkish-Football recently revealed that United have also been keeping tabs on Soyuncu.
Manchester City wonder-kid Enes Unal, Borussia Dortmund winger Emre Mor and Under were the three youngest players on the field, all aged 19.
Unal, Mor and Under are being tipped as the beginning of a new golden generation in Turkish football.
