Marko Marin: ‘Chelsea take care of me’

Marko Marin may appear to have been outcasted by Chelsea having made just 16 appearances for the Blues since his £7 million transfer from Werder Bremen in 2012 but he has revealed that the reigning Premier League champions do actually take good care of him.

In fact Marin underlined that Chelsea have been by his side at every step since he joined the club.

The Germany international stated that he feels valued by the club and that representatives from the reigning champions regularly meet with him.

“Chelsea take care of me,” Marin told Kicker.

“Whatever I need in whatever situation I am in: I know Chelsea are there for me. They follow every match I play, and send me an analysis of my performance in every match.

“Chelsea are very pleased with my season. Representatives of the club come here two, three times a season and talk to those in charge, and see how things go for me.”

The Germany international enjoyed loan spells at Sevilla, Anderlecht and Fiorentina before joining the Black Sea giants on a temporary move.

Marin has two goals and four assists in all competitions for Trabzonspor this season and the club are reported to be keen on keeping him on at the club next season.

The Chelsea winger has established himself as a fan favourite at the Turkish giants and the Black Sea Storm have a buyout clause option.
