Mesut Özil took to Twitter after full time to congratulate Arsenal on their victory over Newcastle in the forth week of the Premier League.
The Gunner’s recorded a 1-0 victory over the Magpies with the games only goal coming from Alex Oxlade Chamberlain.
The 26-year-old praised his teammates on their second away win of the season with the following tweet, “Congratulations to my teammates! Second away win of the season.”

Özil missed Arsenal’s clash with Newcastle due to a knee injury he sustained during training earlier this week. The Germany international missed three months of football last season with a knee injury .
The 26-year-old joins Jack Wilshere, Danny Welbeck, Per Mertesacker and Tomas Rosicky on the sidelines.
The World Cup winner had started in all of Arsenal’s games this season until picking up his injury.
The record £42.5 million Arsenal signing has one assist to his name this season. The 26-year-old setup a goal and played a starring role in the Gunners 2-1 win over Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park.
