Mesut Ozil has been left out of the Arsenal squad yet again ahead of the Premier League clash against Wolves at the Molineux Stadium on Saturday.

Ozil has yet to make a single appearance for the Gunners since the league restarted following coronavirus disruptions.

The playmaker of Turkish origin was initially left out of the squad due to injury but he missed the last game due to a back injury.

Ozil has yet again been ruled out of the squad. Arsenal have yet to release a statement behind his omission but it could be linked to his back problem.

Gunners boss Mikel Arteta did, however, reveal that Ozil’s situation has not changed from last week.

“At the moment the situation is like last week,” he said.

Arteta did also make it clear that he wants players that are completely committed in his team.

“[It refers to] players that respect the values we want to implement, that are 100% committed to our culture, and players that are accountable every day for what we demand from them,” he said.

“Players that are ready to help each other, fight for each other and enjoy playing together. That is what I mean by being in the boat. If you behave like this every day you are very, very welcome here and we want to get the best out of you and help you to enjoy your profession with us.”

In other team news, Bukayo Saka returns to the Arsenal starting lineup. Cedric makes his first start and Eddie Nketiah leads the attack.

Nicolas Pepe will miss the game due to personal reasons, as his wife has gone into labour.
