Arsenal’s star playmaker Mesut Ozil has refused to rule out leaving North London during a recent interview.
The 27-year-old has been linked with a move away from Emirates following Arsenal’s failed title bid.
“In football you can never say never,” Ozil told Spox.com
“Currently, however, I focus exclusively on the current Premier League season, and then to the European Championship. What happens in the next or the next season, we will see.”
Arsenal are currently 11 points behind league leaders Leicester City. The Gunners do have a game in hand but considering reigning champions Chelsea as well as Manchester United and Liverpool are out of the title race, Arsenal would have been expected to do better.
The Gunners only chance of winning silverware this season is the Premier League after being knocked out of the FA Cup and Champions League.
The 27-year-old has 19 assists and seven goals in 38 appearances for Arsenal in all competitions this season.
