Mesut Ozil has stated that he will decide upon his Arsenal future after Euro 2016.
The 27-year-old reiterated that he has two seasons remaining on his current deal with the Gunners. Ozil went onto say that his sole focus is on this summers competition.
“I still have two years contract with Arsenal, as you know, and we will be in talks with the club and we’ll see what happens in the future,” Ozil was quoted as saying by the National.
“But as I said, now I’m concentrating on Euro 2016 in France, which is very important for me and my team after the last World Cup. Then later on, I will see what I do with Arsenal.”
Arsenal crushed Villa in their final league game of the season to overtake Tottenham who suffered a shock 5-1 defeat at the hands of Newcastle United.
Ozil provided his 19th assist of the league campaign missing out on equalling the all time Premier League record for goals provided which was set by Arsenal legend Thierry Henry.
Germany international of Turkish origin Mesut Ozil provided an assist for the second goal setting up Olivier Giroud who bagged a hat-trick.
