Oumar Niasse knows better than most his Everton teammate what kind of player Cenk Tosun is.

Niasse played against Tosun during his time at Super Lig outfit Akhisar.

The Senegal international revealed he knows just how good Tosun is and that he feels the Toffees now have a stronger attacking setup.

Niasse has struggled for first-team action at Everton but stated that his role in the team does not bother him, he is willing to do what is necessary.

“I am here – and every time they call on me and I get on the pitch I am going to give my best,” Niasse told EvertonTV.

“It is always good to have great players coming in. Cenk is a good player who I knew before he came here because I played against him in Turkey [for Akhisar Belediyespor against Besiktas].

“Also, we have got Theo coming in and Dominic Calvert-Lewin is here… a lot of good players.

“We need all of them, we need all of us and now it is up to the manager to decide what is going to happen for each match.”

“I never feel big pressure, honestly, because I know, every time, I do my job.”

Tosun and Niasse both made a name for themselves in the Super Lig before ending up in the Premier League.

Niasse has played predominantly off the bench this season – with just five starts in 12 league appearances.

The striker has a decent return in the Premier League scoring six goals and providing two assists.

Niasse was linked with a January exit but Sam Allardyce has ruled out letting an exit.

“No I can’t let Niasse go, there’s no danger of that,” Allardyce told Liverpool Echo.

“There is no way we can let Oumar go. We’ve given Dominic [Calvert-Lewin] the weekend off because of the huge amount of games he’s played.

“We need those three between now and the end of the season. We haven’t had a lot of goals, we’re trying to increase our goal-scoring capacity but my problem was the goal we gave away, not just the performance, but the goal.”
