He’s also secured the starting striker position, pushing Icardi (there for two seasons) and newcomer Batshuayi (from Fenerbahce) to the bench.

“Icardi is a legend of this game. Batshuayi is also a deadly player. I have things to learn from them, we will cooperate. We will improve each other’s quality,” Osimhen said after Galatasaray’s 5-0 win on Saturday.
Osimhen has a clear goal to make a significant impact during his loan spell ending in June 2025.
By prioritizing teamwork and learning from his peers, he positions himself for success at Galatasaray.
The striker thought he had scored but ended up unintentionally providing an assist for Abdulkerim Bardakci, the ball deflected off the defender into the back of the net.
Osimhen won over the fans after celebrating Bardakci’s goal honouring club legend Metin Oktay.
