The bromance between Arsenal’s Mesut Özil and Flamini is one of the closest bonds in the Premier League.
Özil rekindled the close bond he has with Flamini in his latest Instagram post where he posts three images bowing down to the Frenchman alongside the caption: “Training ahead of #LCFCvAFC with my White-Hart-Lane-double-score-bro @mathieuflamini.”
Flamini scored a brace against north London rivals Tottenham in the Gunners 2-1 win at White Hart Lane in the Carling Cup midweek.
Gunners teammate Theo Walcott went as far to describe the connection between the two as ‘Flamzil’.
“We actually call them Flamzil,” Walcott was quoted as saying by the Evening Standard.
Ozil posted five pictures on his Instagram account posing with the Frenchman on his Instagram in the month of April alone.
Flamini has not been shy in revealing that he feels a special relationship with the 26-year-old.
“Mesut is one of my closest team-mates and we were on the pitch,” Flamini told the official Arsenal website.
