The former Barcelona boss Pep Guardiola is already planning his future at Manchester City according to the Express.
The daily newspaper states that Guardiola has supplied the club hierarchy with a list of the players he wants to bring in. The Express goes onto state that Borussia the Dortmund’s midfielder Ilkay Gundogan tops the list for the current Bayern Munich manager.
Gundogan has also been linked with a move to Liverpool since the appointment of Jugen Klopp earlier this season. Sportmediaset [as per the Daily Star] have reported that the Red’s are eyeing a £22 million move for the deep-lying playmaker.
Both United and Liverpool have received a boost in the race to sign Gundogan after Serie A giants Juventus cooled their interest in the Germany international.
Gundgoan was previously identified as a priority target by Juve but have subsequently denied interest in the 25-year-old. Dortmund recently rejected a €30 million bid from Juventus for the midfield playmaker according to Goal.
The deep-lying playmaker has five assists and two goals for Dortmund in 28 appearances this season.
