Arda Turan is finally set to join the likes of Lionel Messi, Luis Suarez and Neymar on the playing field as he officially becomes a registered Barcelona player today.
The Spanish Football Federation will register both Turan and fellow teammate Aleix Vidal today despite both players joining over the summer.
Turan took to Facebook to reveal that he is delighted to become a full fledged registered Barcelona player.
Barcelona were able to sign new players but unable to register them due to the FIFA transfer ban imposed on the club.
The ban has now officially been lifted and both players will be able to make their debut for the reigning La Liga champions against Espanyol in the Spanish Cup on January 6 2016. Barcelona drew the first leg on Saturday 0-0.
Turan has managed to keep a relatively high degree of match fitness due to playing regularly for the Turkish national team.
The Crescent-Stars are unbeaten in their last 10 games in which the bearded winger has featured and he played a key role in Turkey reaching the European Championships.
